The third quarter of 2024 saw notable trends in the performance of the top food and drink applications on the Android platform in Europe. According to data from Sensor Tower, these apps demonstrated varying patterns in downloads, revenue, and active user engagement. Here's a closer look at the performance of the top five apps in this category.

Chefkoch - Rezepte & Kochen experienced a generally stable revenue stream, peaking at around $10K in the final week of July. Weekly downloads fluctuated, starting at 2.4K in early July and ending at 2.4K by the end of September. The app maintained a robust user base, with active users increasing from approximately 127K to 147K throughout the quarter.

The Pam App showed a decline in both weekly revenue and downloads over the quarter. Revenue started at $4.8K and dropped to $4.1K by the end of September. Downloads followed a similar pattern, beginning at 958 and decreasing to 671. Active users remained relatively stable, with a slight decrease from 18.2K to 17.7K.

Vivino: Buy the Right Wine showed a positive trend in revenue, rising from $3.2K at the start of July to $5.3K at the end of September. Downloads also increased significantly, starting at 8.3K and reaching 12.9K. Active users saw some fluctuations but ended the quarter with a slight increase, moving from 184K to 195K.

The app food with love: Rezepte had a modest revenue growth, rising from $3K to $3.7K by the end of September. Downloads showed a gradual increase from 129 to 172. No data was available for active users.

KptnCook Recipes, Cooking, Eat experienced a decline in revenue, from $4.3K in early July to $3.7K by the end of September. Downloads remained relatively steady, moving from 2.5K to 2.3K. Active users saw a slight decrease from 139K to 131K over the quarter.
